Sahasvat is growing rapidly and currently we have the following openings for freshers at our office in Chennai, India.

Software Engineer Trainee

At Sahasvat, we build Python web-apps over Google App Engine. While we'll be happy if you have worked on Python or Google App Engine already, it will not be a concern if you have the following qualifications.

Essential Qualifications
  • Good mathematical and analytical skills
  • Passion for programming
  • Knowledge in at least one programming language, like Java, C, C++, PHP, etc.,.
Nice-to-have Qualifications
  • Exposure to any database systems, like Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL
  • Exposure to HTML, Javascript, CSS
We are not particular about educational qualifications. Diploma, Arts and Science graduates are welcome. What matters is your passion for programming.

Our selection process will involve writing code in the programming language of your choice and will have at least one program involving recursion.

Marketing & Customer Support Trainee

Responsibilities include spreading the word out about the services offered by Sahavat and interacting with customers via emails and conference-calls to help them out in using our services.

Essential Qualifications
  • Good interpersonal, communication skills.
Nice-to-have Qualifications
  • Exposure to MS Office / Open Office.
  • Exposure to Blogs and Forums.
We are not particular about educational qualifications. Diploma, Arts and Science graduates are welcome, as long as you are good in English and have a passion for interacting with people.
